Working in the sector of human rights, FWLD has operated closely with international human rights treaty committees specifically the CEDAW Committee. FWLD has prepared and submitted the CEDAW Shadow Report since the initial report to the recent Alternate Report. Additionally, FWLD has submitted separate additional information to other Human Rights Bodies such as UPR and CRC Committee on the issue of Citizenship.

In order to advocate human rights internationally, FWLD has participated in various international conferences and programs representing the issue of the marginalized community of Nepal.
