FWLD organized a Public Hearing on Citizenship on 21st September 2018 at Alfa House with the people affected without the citizenship certificate in the presence of newly appointed president of the State Management Committee and the Honorable Parliamentarians. The citizenship Act Amendment Bill was rigorously discussed along with the problematic provision in the same. The people affected without the citizenship certificate spoke on the challenges they have been facing without the citizenship. While the Parliamentarians who also proposed the Bill made a commitment to bring about a positive change in the Bill.
