Pre-sessional Working Group on the 71st session of Convention on Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) of Nepal held at 12th March, 2018 at Geneva, Switzerland. FWLD along with the Civil Society Working Group had presented a Shadow Report in CEDAW. 4 speakers from Nepal including Mr. Sabin Shrestha from FWLD spoke on the issue of Citizenship, Reproductive Health Right, Trafficking in Person and Gender Based Violence. He precisely provided his oral statement on the implementation status of CEDAW whereas remaining speakers addressed the issues of Women Education, Discrimination Against Intersex Women, Lesbian and Transgender Persons in Nepal.
