A Civil Society Report on Beijing + 25 Review Nepal was launched on 5th February, 2020 by Honorable Minister Parbat Gurung, Minister of Women, Children and Senior Citizens. Ms. Manamanay Pangeni, Joint Secretary of Minister of Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Ms Chandani Joshi, Senior Women Rights Activist and Advisor of the National Network for Beijing Review Nepal (NNBN), Ms Bandana Rana, Founder of the NNBN and Vice-Chair of CEDAW Committee and Ms Rachana Bhattarai, Representative of UN Women were invited as guests and the program was chaired by Advocate Meera Dhungana, Conveyor of the NNBN and President of FWLD. Advocate Sabin Shrestha, Executive Director of FWLD highlighted the major concerns raised in the report. Over 80 participants including representatives of government agencies, UN agencies, Journalists, Civil Society Members and the Members of the NNBN were presented.
