On the auspicious of World Day against Trafficking in Person FWLD with the support of USAID/UKaid/Winrock International organized an Inter Ministerial Coordination Meeting on Ratification of Palermo Protocol and Way forward on 26 July 2019. The program was graced by Mr. Puskar Sapkota, Joint Secretary of Ministry of Home Affairs as Chief Speaker. Similarly, Director General of Department of Foreign Employment, Director General of Foreign Employment Promotion Board also attended the meeting along with representatives from various concerned ministries and government agencies such as Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizen, National Human Rights Commission, Courts, Bar Association, Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau, etc. The discussion in the meeting was focused on the responsibilities of government agencies in implementing Palermo Protocol after it’s Ratification.
