FWLD in collaboration with International Alert, CVCP and LACC conducted a Discussion Program on the “Amendments to the Act relating to the Investigating Enforced Disappearance, Truth Resolution and Reconciliation Commission” with the Parliamentarians, Human Rights Committees and Conflict Victims on 10th May 2018 at Alpha House. Honorable Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sher Bahadur Tamang graced the program as the Chief Guest. The program was focused on discussing with the law makers and the law implementer on the amendments that should be made in the Act for addressing the needs and concerns of the Conflict Victims and effective implementations of the decisions issued by the Supreme Court of Nepal in this regards. On the Occasion, Honorable Minister expressed a commitment that no amendment to the Act will be done ignoring heinous crime like sexual violence, abduction, enforced disappearance, killings.
