The two day National Consultation Event on Beijing +25 Review concluded on Oct. 18, 2019 with concrete recommendations from civil society and other participants. Also Ms. Shreejana Pokharel presented Beijing Declaration and it was adopted in the session. The closing session of the consultation was chaired by Advocate Sabin Shrestha, Executive Director of FWLD, and the session was graced by Honorable Anup Raj Sharma, Chairperson of National Human Rights Commission as chief guest. The event was also graced by Vice chair of UN CEDAW Committee, Ms. Bandana Rana, Secretary of National Women Commission Mr. Deependra Kafle, Secretary of Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizen, Mr. Chandra Prasad Ghimire and senior women rights activist Ms. Chandani Joshi.
