Forum for Women, Law and Development (FWLD) is seeking proposal from individuals/organizations Update and Redevelopment of Mero Adhikar Mobile App under the project named “Addressing Sexual Violence in Nepal”.

The proposal should be submitted preferably on or before 18 March 2022 during office hours (before 5 PM) to FWLD’s office.

TERMS OF REFERENCE

Scope of Work

The scope of work for the update and redevelopment of the Mero Adhikar Mobile App includes the following features:

1. Content Update: The app content shall be updated with the latest laws and content for every respective topics.
2. App Redesign: The app shall be redesigned with a user-friendly interface and an easy-to-navigate system. The redesign shall follow up-to-date design principles to improve the user experience.
3. App Platform Upgrade: The app shall be redeveloped in a cross-platform development environment to reduce the cost of development and maintenance of native apps for Android and iOS.
4. App Update to Support Latest Android and iOS Version: The app shall be updated to support the latest versions of Android and iOS.
5. Bugs (Problems) Fixing: As part of the redevelopment, all the bugs and problems in the current app shall be fixed.
6. Legal Helpline: The app shall have a new feature of Legal Helpline that allows users to communicate via the app to get legal help. The app will have the feature to assign the issue from Admin user to specific issue specialist to resolve the issue via app. This feature broadens the concept of using technology for good and provides online legal help to the users.
7. Videos: The app shall have the feature to include videos that provide additional information and guidance to the users.
8. Push Notifications: Push notifications shall be added to the app to notify users about new content added to the app. This feature improves user engagement, brand awareness, and app retention.
9. User Login via Facebook/Google: The app shall have the feature to login via Facebook or Google to save user data and preferences. This feature will make the login process easier for the users.

Eligibility:

• Prior work experience in development of mobile app
• Must be legally constituted and registered under the law of Nepal

Ownership / Copyright

• FWLD will own the final product and retain all rights to use, edit, and distribute it as it sees fit
