Forum for Women, Law and Development (FWLD) announces vacancy for the project Information and support to people without Civil Documentation. The requirement for the position are as follows:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Under supervision of the Executive Director and Program Coordinator , provide  administrative and logistical support to organize activities.
  • Contribute to writing and reporting of various documents specific to the program.
  • Prepares drafts of budgets in coordination with other members of the Program and Finance  teams.
  • Coordinate with Administrative/Finance team in reviewing budgets and expenditures;
  • Assist in conducting/facilitating trainings, workshops, and conferences .
  • Assist and support in program design, implementation and evaluation;
  • Assist the Management Committee and the Admin/Finance Team of FWLD in the procurement process related to the Project.
  • Ensure smooth operation of the activities related to the Project.
  • Identify and introduce concepts and proposals for programmatic intervention.
  • Additional responsibilities based on demonstrated ability and/or program needs.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Should have basic knowledge Microsoft Office .
  • Understand development issues.
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge and skills on research methodology.
  • Competent in the use of computer.
  • Excellent English and Nepali speaking, writing and translation skills .
  • Minimum 2 years’ of relevant work experience, some of which may include coursework and/or internships.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • This role will work directly with Executive Director.
