Forum for Women, Law and Development (FWLD) invites proposals from interested theatre groups, companies, or production houses to develop and perform a forum theatre on the issues related to Gender-Based Violence (GBV) highlighting Digital Violence under the occasion of 16 days days activism against Gender based Violence..
The technical and financial proposals must be submitted in separate sealed envelopes, each bearing an authorized signature. Both envelopes should then be placed in a single large sealed envelope, also signed by an authorized representative, and labeled “Forum Theatre on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) highlighting Digital Violence.”
Proposals should be submitted to the FWLD office no later than November 7, 2025, by the close of business (Office Hours: 5:00 PM).

Scope of Work
- Develop a compelling script that portrays real-life challenges faced by women and girls due to Gender-Based Violence (GBV) highlighting Digital Violence, while incorporating relevant legal provisions to address these issues.
- Create engaging, informative, and thought-provoking content that empowers the audience to take action against GBV highlighting Digital Violence.
- Conduct rehearsals and perform a series of forum theatre productions in 7 places inside Kathmandu Valley.
- Ensure that each performance does not exceed 45 minutes in duration.
- Deliver all performances in the Nepali language to ensure accessibility and engagement.
- Facilitate interactive discussions following each performance to encourage dialogue and inspire action.
- Collaborate closely with FWLD to align the production with the project’s objectives and key messages.
- Submit a final narrative report detailing audience feedback, participation, and the overall impact of the performances.
Deliverables
- A finalized script incorporating feedback from FWLD.
- Completion of rehearsals prior to the first performance.
- A minimum of 7 performances conducted across 7 places inside Kathmandu Valley.
- A comprehensive report detailing performances, audience participation, and key discussions.
Eligibility
- Proven experience in forum theatre or interactive theatre performances.
- Demonstrated ability to produce and perform theatre productions in both urban and rural settings.
- Strong understanding of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) issues and social advocacy.
- Capability to deliver high-quality, socially relevant performances.
- Must be legally constituted and registered under Nepalese law.
Budget
- Submit a detailed budget proposal with a breakdown of costs as deemed appropriate.
