With the aim to enhance disaster preparedness and strengthen response of provisional and municipal governments in western Nepal, a joint consortium of UNDP, UNICEF and UN Women are implementing the project entitled “Strengthening Urban Preparedness, Earthquake Preparedness and Response in Western Region of Nepal (SUPER)”.
Under SUPER Project (with technical inputs from UN Women), Women Friendly Disaster Management Core Group (WFDM) and Forum for Women, Law and Development (FWLD) through sub project “Strengthening Capacities of Women’s Groups/Network on Gender Responsive Disaster Risk Reduction and Humanitarian Action” is seeking proposal from relevant experts and relevant organizations to:

Consulting firms/ Research agency- Conduct GESI Analysis to understand existing social structure, gender discrimination and inequalities that could exacerbate during disasters.

GESI and DRR Expert- Develop series of IEC materials on GESI Responsive Disaster Risk Reduction, Earthquake Preparedness and Urban Risk Mitigation.
Call #3
GESI and DRR Expert- Analyze Gender Audit of Project Municipalities and support local level to address gaps identified by Gender Audit (In leadership of local government)
Call #4
GESI and DRR Expert- To Conduct Training to provincial, district and municipal representatives on GESI responsive Disaster Risk Reduction and Humanitarian Action (Example: Humanitarian Architecture and Sphere Standards, SADDD monitoring framework, GESI informed disaster response, IASC Principles and Guidelines, Gender and Age Marker)
