FWLD and Ipas Nepal in coordination with Health Department of Province no. 5 organized a Sensitization Program with Province Parliamentarians and concern stakeholders on SM and RHR Act and Safe Abortion Service on 2 January 2020 in Province no. 5, Butwal. The program was chaired by Mr. Gopi Krishna Khanal, Secretary of Ministry of Social Development, whereas Hon’ble Sudrasan Baral, Minister of Social Development Ministry attended the program as a chief guest, Hon’ble Dirga Narayan, chairman of committee of Social Development of Provincial Parliament attended the program as a special guest. The program was facilitated by Adv. Sabin Shrestha, Ms. Madhabi Bajracharya and Adv. Nagendra Bashyal. Dr. Uma Shankar Prasad Chaudhary welcomed all the participants and highlighted objective of the program. Dr. Popular Gentle, Country Director of Ipas Nepal; parliamentarians, secretariate of provincial parliament and Ministry of Social Development, president of High Court Bar, District Bar gave remarks in the program.
