A Provincial Consultation on draft of CEDAW Shadow Report was commenced in province no. 6 (Karnali province), Surkhet on 28th August, 2018.
The consultation program was focused on discussing on the draft CEDAW Shadow Report and collecting feedback from the participants. The participants were the representatives of different civil societies and international agencies.
Ms. Sushama Gautam from FWLD facilitated the consultation and Tika Dahal, A Civil Society Advisaory Group facilitated on Article 1-4. Radha Poudel from Radha Poudel Foundation facilitated on Article 5-9, Sharmila Shrestha from Justice for All facilitated on Article 10-12 and Sashi Basnet from Juri Nepal facilitated on Article 13-16.
