FWLD attended the meeting with the Members of State Affairs Committee on 5th October, 2018 at the Committee’s office. The Citizenship Act Amendment Bill 2018 was discussed with the parliamentarians. The chairperson of the Person Affected without Citizenship Network was also present at the meeting along with the people without the citizenship certificate. The State Affairs Committee expressed the commitment to address all the problematic provision in the Citizenship Act Amendment Bill.
