FWLD conducted Interactive Workshop against Gender Based Violence in Nepalgunj, Banke District from October 21st – 25th, 2019. Representative from District Police Office, District and High Court, District and High Government Attorney Office, National Human Rights Commission, Bheri Hospital, Legal Aid Lawyers, Nepalgunj Sub Metropolitan, Duduwa Rural Municipalities, Baijanath Rural Municipalities, District Bar Association Banke, Fatima Foundation, Shakti Group, Maiti Nepal, Bargar Community, Sathi, GBV control group actively participated in the workshop. The workshop started with the session of identifying the role of the participants and ended with their commitment to end gender based violence by preparing action plan. Advocate Sabin Shrestha, Advocate Sunil Kumar Shrestha, District Attorney Yam Bahadur Baniya, Ms Ratna Maya Lama from TPO Nepal and Advocate Basanta Gautam conducted various sessions. The workshop was facilitated by Advocate Sagar Pathak.
