FWLD organized Interactive Workshop against Gender Based Violence in Saptari District, Province 2 from 13th to 17th February, 2020 under the SAHAJ project. District Government Attorney Office, District Police (Female), former Constituent Assembly member and representative from District Court section officers, Nurse from District hospital, Legal Aid Lawyer, Judicial Committee member, District Bar Association, representative from different nongovernmental organization, women and children network, mediator, District Service Center, District Administration Office and other concerned stakeholders participated in the workshop. Saptari District Judge Rita Bhakrel, District Attorney Kailash Dahal, Advocate Bhisnu Bashyal, Advocate Sabin Shrestha, Binod Devkota, Psyco-social Counsellor Pitambar Koirala from TPO, Advocate Surendra Yadav and Advocate Ram Kumar Yadav conducted various sessions including the mock trail. The workshop was facilitated by Advocate Sital Sijapati.
