FWLD organized Interactive Workshop against Gender Based Violence in Nawalparasi District, Province 5 from 24th to 28th December, 2019 under the SAHAJ project. Former constituent assembly member and representative from District Police Office, District Court, District government attorney office, Prithvi Chandra Hospital, Legal Aid Lawyer, Vice Chair of Pratappur Rural Municipalities and Palhinandan Rural Municipalities, Judicial committee member of Kawasoti Municipality, ward representative of Sunwal Municipality, District Bar Association, representative from different nongovernmental organization, women and children network, mediator, district service center, division forest office, district administration office and other concerned stakeholders participated in the workshop. Advocate Bhupendra Khanal, Honorable Judge Rajya Laxmi Bajracharya (Tulsipur High Court, Butwal Bench), Honorable Judge Ashok Kumar Basnet (District Court, Nawalparasi), Senior Advocate Sudarshan Pant and Pitambar Koirala from TPO Nepal conducted various sessions. The workshop was facilitated by Advocate Sagar Pathak and Advocate Ramesh Prasad Chaudhary.
