FWLD held an interactive session on 22 June, 2016 with delegates from Myanmar as a part of exchange visit hosted by CREA. They were informed about women’s right under the new Constitution of Nepal along with information related to UNSCR Resolution No. 1325 and 1820 and National Action Plan of Nepal. The delegates were very keen on knowing the struggles and challenges that Nepalese women had to face to bring gender equality and women representation in all spheres of the country. The women delegates hope to integrate the practice and legal framework given as instances by FWLD into their field of interest back in Myanmar.
