FWLD with the support of the Open Society Foundation (OSF) conducted a one-day District Level Paralegal Training on “Legal Identity, Birth Registration and Citizenship” at Legacy Hotel, Mustangchowk, Pokhara on 30th June, 2018. The core objectives of the training were to orient the participants on the legal provisions and procedures relating to the birth registration and citizenship and make them aware of legal identity and it’s important. They were also made aware on the various important decisions of the Supreme Court regarding the citizenship. Total 49 participants including representatives and the members of the Nigarani Samuha (former Paralegal Committee) of 7 wards of the Pokhara Metropolitan were participated in the training.
