On 24th April, 2016, FWLD conducted a district dialogue program at Gorkha where the earthquake affected people of Gorkha district attended. The program was chaired by the Assistant CDO. The earthquake affected people of Gorkha district expressed their sadness over the delay in the reconstruction process. Similarly, a few earthquake affected people still continues to face problem in acquiring the earthquake ID cards. The assistant CDO has noted the issues and has stated to look into the matter. The earthquake affected people expressed concerns over how to receive benefits as they are not red card and white card holders. The participants also laid stress over the reconstruction as well as procedures not being gender method.
