A 2-day residential program was conducted by National Human Rights Commission with the support of FWLD and Center for Reproductive Rights (CRR). The program was inaugurated by Member of National Human Rights Commission Mr. Govinda Sharma Poudel. This residential program was on the discussion on CEDAW report and List of Issues given by CEDAW Committee for the 71st session and points and ideas to be construed on the report to be presented to the CEDAW committee on the 71st session.
Mr. Sabin Shrestha, Ms. Sonali Regmi, Ms. Prabina Bajracharya and Ms. Purna Shrestha presented on the articles 1-16, CEDAW and Reporting Obligation and Role of NHRI in Reporting.
