With the need of necessary reform and amendment in the civil registration law, FWLD organized a Book Launch Event of the “Legal Analysis of Civil Registration Laws of Nepal’ on 16th March, 2018 at Alfa House. The Book was launched under the auspices of Honorable Minister Tham Maya Thapa, Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare, Mr Bed Bahadur Karki, Director General of the Department of Civil Registration DoCR, Mr. Tilak Mahat, Member of Parliament, Ms. Sashi Shrestha, Member of Parliament and Mr. Bishal Bhardwaj from DoCR. The Legal Analysis sheds the light upon the need of necessary amendment to be made in the upcoming laws regarding the civil registration making them in line with the Constitution of Nepal.
