FWLD’s Policy Reformation and Awareness to yield address of SGBV (PRAYAS) Grant Request for Proposals

Forum for Women, Law and Development (FWLD) is pleased to announce an open Request for Proposals (RFP) 2025 for the funding period February to August 2025.

Through this RFP, FWLD invites community-led initiatives by non-profit non-governmental organizations (preferably CBOs)  in Lumbini and Madhesh Province to apply for a grant to prevent and address Sexual and Gender-based Violence (SGBV) in their municipalities.

The community-led initiative shall focus on:

  • Legal and policy -level changes to prevent and address gender and social norms that perpetuate SGBV in their municipalities; and,
  • Awareness and empowerment of community members and key influencer who safeguard gender and social norms to perpetuate root causes of SGBV.

Eligibility:

  • Must be non-profit non-governmental organizations (preferably CBOs) in Lumbini Province or Madhesh Province.
  • Must be an organization that has been registered and working on gender equality for the past three years.

Budget Breakdown:

  • Program: 70%
  • Human Resources: 25%
  • Administrative Cost: 5%

FWLD Micro grant Timeline:

  • 1) Call for Proposal: January 10, 2025
  • 2) Deadline for Proposal Submission: January 21, 2025
  • 4) Selection: By January 25, 2025
  • 5) Grant Period: February 1 to August 1, 2025

Funding Details:

Grant amount: NRs 12,00,000 (Nepali Rupees Twelve Lakhs Only.)
