Forum for Women, Law and Development (FWLD), an autonomous, non-profit, non-governmental organization established on May 29, 1995 to work for the protection, promotion and enjoyment of human rights, is seeking proposal from individuals, firms, companies, production houses and non-governmental media development organizations to create animated video based on Crime Victim Protection Act, 2018.
Significance and Scope of the Assignment
Forum for Women, Law and Development (FWLD) intends to produce animated video (around 10 minutes). The video should clearly provide the information stated in section 7 of Crime Victim protection act in simplified form so that the general public will be aware about it. An issue of GBV should be shown in the animated video to provide the information in the simplified form.
Required qualification and experience
A firm/company/service provider should have following qualifications and experience for this task:
- Must be legally constituted and registered under the law of Nepal
- Must have 2 years’ experience in animated video production
- Must have sufficient technical expertise, human resource and infrastructure to complete the assignment
- Must be registered in VAT/PAN
- Must submit the document of past association in producing similar video.
Applicants should submit a sealed package to FWLD including following
- Examples of previous work and affiliations with any organization for the similar work nature
- Detailed working plan of all phases in pre –production, production and post- production
- Brief Bios (CV) of the key people to be engaged in the production of documentary
- Animated video synopsis including description of work plan
Selection process
- Shortlist: upon the receipt of proposals FWLD will review the necessary documents for short-listing potential firms or companies to attend the interview
- Interview: Shortlisted firms or company will be invited for interview
- Selection: After interview, successful firm or company will be selected
Target audience
The target audience would be general public, member of local judicial committee, survivors of gender based violence, government authorities and other concerned stakeholders.

Kindly consider proposing a tentative budget scale along with breakdown
Language Usage/Style
The animated shall be produced primarily in Nepali language along with Maithali, Bhojpuri and Abadhi language.
Ownership / Copyright
FWLD will own the final product and retain all rights to use, edit and distribute it as it sees fit.
Deadline for the application
The proposal along with all the documents required should be submitted in sealed package to FWLD by quoting “For SAHAJ project” at the address mentioned below no later than June 25, 2020.
