Forum for Women, Law and Development (FWLD) under its project “Information and Support to the People without Civil Documentation” is seeking proposal from organizations to “Development of online TV episodes for legal counselling.”
The TV episodes will invite a lawyer in each episode and connect them with people who need counselling and consultations, people, through live phone calls. The main purpose of the online TV episodes is to make the general people aware on the complex citizenship issues and procedures to apply for the legal identity documents which will be helpful for people facing difficulties in accessing legal identity documents.
The sealed proposal should be submitted preferably on or before November 25, 2020 during office hour (9:30 AM TO 5:00 PM), to FWLD’s office or via e-mail (pabita@fwld.org, santosh@fwld.org, or sushant@fwld.org)

TERMS OF REFERENCE
Timeline:
FWLD anticipates the TV episodes unrolling from the 10th December,2020.
Duration:
The online TV episodes should be produced between 30 to 40 minutes.
Applicants should submit a concise package to FWLD’s office or via e-mail by November 25,2020 including following:
- Previous work experience. Priority will be given to the candidate with previous work experience in social and legal sector.
- Recent Curriculum Vitae of key personnel’s engaged.
- Registration certificate under the law of Nepal.
- Tax clearance certificate at least up to 75/76 fiscal year.
Budget:
Kindly consider proposing a tentative budget scale (per episode).
Language Usage/Style:
Since the subject matter touches on extremely sensitive concept, the online TV producer is strictly suggested to remain in the language sensitivity frame and use gender friendly terminologies.
Ownership/Copyright:
FWLD will own the final product and retain all rights to use, edit and distribute it as it sees fit.
Scope of Work:
- The service provider should host and broadcast 10 online TV episodes their official YouTube Channel and share it through their official Facebook page.
- The service should have a studio with all the required infrastructures and human resources for recording and broadcasting the online TV episodes.
- The service provider should have facility to entertain live telephone calls from the viewers.
- The service provider should re-broadcast the recorded the TV episodes in the month of January, 2021.
