Layout and Design of the Gender Observation Report of the House of Representatives Election, 2082

  1. Background

Forum for Women, Law and Development (FWLD) has prepared a Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) Observation Report on the House of Representatives Election, 2082. The report presents findings and analysis of the election from a GEDSI perspective and aims to document the participation, representation, accessibility, and experiences of observers during the electoral process.

To ensure effective presentation, wider dissemination, accessibility, and professional publication of the report, FWLD invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals/firms for the layout and design of the Gender Observation Report.

  1. Scope of Work and Responsibilities

The selected individuals/firms will be responsible for:

  • Developing a professional and reader-friendly layout and design for the report.
  • Designing the cover page and overall visual identity of the report.
  • Formatting text, headings, tables, charts, graphs, and other visual elements.
  • Designing and presenting data and findings through appropriate info graphics and visualizations.
  • Ensuring consistency in fonts, colors, spacing, page numbering, headings, tables, and other formatting elements.
  • Incorporating photographs, illustrations, icons, and other relevant visual elements where appropriate.
  • Ensuring that the design reflects the principles of gender equality, disability inclusion, and social inclusion.
  • Making necessary revisions based on feedback from FWLD.
  • Preparing the final print-ready and digital versions of the report.
  • Ensuring the final document is accessible, clear, visually appealing, and suitable for publication and dissemination.

 

 

  1. Duration of Assignment

The assignment shall be completed within 1 month from the date of signing the agreement.

  1. Required Qualifications and Experience

Interested individuals/firms should have:

  • Bachelor Degree in IT/ Computing, graphic design, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in report layout, publication design, graphic design, and/or development of professional reports.
  • Experience in designing reports, research publications, or similar documents will be an advantage.
  • Strong skills in data visualization, info graphic design, and document formatting.
  1. Payment Schedule

Payment will be made upon satisfactory completion and approval of the agreed deliverables, as specified in the contract agreement.

  1. Detailed CV/organizational profile highlighting relevant experience.
  2. Cover letter/proposal outlining the proposed approach to the assignment and expected remuneration.
